behind the ink.

Hi, I’m Marija. Making art is what I love.

I’m an artist and tattooist at Sigiwigi’s Ink in Marsaskala, Malta. My work spans tattoos, drawings and paintings on art paper and canvas, as well as logo design. I also offer makeup artistry.

I enjoy every part of the creative process: the first idea, the sketch, the drawing and the refining. But the most satisfying moment is seeing a finished piece express itself.

Is the portfolio only tattoos?

No. Fine Art brings together aquarelle, pencil drawings, chalk pastels and watercolours. Makeup has its own gallery, and tattoo studies are labelled separately from client work.

Can I enquire about a painting or a design?

Yes. Marija’s work includes paintings and drawings on paper and canvas, logo design and tattoos. Get in touch to discuss your idea.
